The Elephant Capture Unit, DWNP Perak and the staff from the National Elephant Conservation Center Kuala Gandah, Pahang succeeded in capturing and translocating a male elephant at Kg. Tawai, Perak on 2nd August 2011. The elephant was released in its natural habitat which is bigger and far from human inhabitant.
